About the Founder
Eng. Ala'a Gouneem
ALMOQAREN was founded by Ala'a Gouneem, a civil engineer and construction leader with over 20 years of experience in the industry across the Middle East. Throughout his career, Ala'a has held key leadership roles as a Project Manager, Operations Manager, and General Manager, managing complex residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments from concept through execution and final handover. His experience covers consultancy, design & build environments, and contractor-side operations, giving him a comprehensive, 360-degree understanding of the construction lifecycle. He has been deeply involved in project delivery, business operations, resource management, and contract administration, with strong expertise in FIDIC-based contracts, risk management, and dispute resolution. This combination of technical and operational leadership has enabled him to manage not only projects, but also teams, performance, and profitability. Through years of working closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities, Ala'a recognized the recurring inefficiencies in the industry—fragmented communication, disputes, and lack of transparency. These challenges led to the creation of ALMOQAREN. His vision is to transform construction into a more structured, transparent, and technology-driven industry—where collaboration replaces conflict, and decisions are driven by clarity, data, and trust.
